GETTING SALTY HOODED NUDIBRANCH

The Hooded Nudibanch is (imo) one of the most interesting nudis in the world. With giant mouths much like a Venus flytrap, these awesome nudis filter and gather food out of the water column. Feeding on zooplankton, small crustaceans and even little fish.
These nudis can grow to lengths of 3-4in and a fun fact is these Nudibranch have a distinct odour of watermelon!

You can find these fruity smelling nudis in eelgrass meadows or amongst the kelp usually congregating in large numbers.
